Our next launch will be August 27 & 28. Saturday will be a Commercial Launch with everyone flying. This should prove a very good time for all as it is open to anything you are qualified to fly. No affiliation limits and no age limits - the kids will rule! Sunday will be a Research Launch where only Tripoli Members can fly. Research launches are totally different in nature. No kids permitted to fly and you MUST be a National Member of Tripoli. Local memberships do not count.

TRIPOLI'S 1st PREFECTURE

Welcome to the Tripoli Rocketry Association's Pittsburgh Prefecture WebSite. Tripoli Pittsburgh is Prefecture #1 because this is where the Tripoli Rocketry Association, Inc. started. High Power Rocketry, as we know it today, can trace its roots to our early years back in 1964. In the early 1980's a small group of dedicated rocketeers from around the country partnered with the early members of the Tripoli Rocketry group devoted to Advanced Rocketry. Using our base as a springboard the largest organization dedicated to Advanced High Power Rocketry was formed. Tripoli Pittsburgh continues the tradition of responsible rocket experimentation and recreation. A tradition which is now the core of the entire Tripoli Rocketry Association, Inc.

TRIPOLI ROCKETRY ASSOCIATION, INC. is the National Organization of Advanced Non-Professional Rocketry. It sprang forth from our beginnings to become an international organization and voice of the High Powered Rocketry Community. While we are free to govern our local club as we see fit, we are pledged, as a Prefecture and by membership, to uphold the goals, direction, codes and ideals of the National Organization.
